Vigilante nabs suspected killers of FUG, Yobe lecturer, others

Operatives of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria, VGN, have arrested eight suspected hoodlums who allegedly killed Sani Mazadu, a lecturer at the Federal University, Gashua in Yobe State.

Not only Mazadu was killed but one of the members of a vigilante group identified as Suleiman.

LAGOS HERALD learnt the deceased was killed last month by members of one of the dreaded cult groups code-named Sara-Suka.

The VGN Area Commander, Sai Kachalla who disclosed this to newsmen said the suspects are in the region of 16 and 20 years old.

He added, “The Command had initiated steps to bring all the perpetrators of the murders to face the full wrath of the law”.

In his reaction, the Chairman of the Jos local government, Shehu Usman assured that his administration would be relentless in collaborating with security agencies across the state in protecting lives and property.
