The Learned Silk and Bar Patriot, Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN arrived at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano today, Thursday, May 5, 2022 and was warmly met with a rousing reception into the state popularly known as the centre of commerce by a delegation of members of the NBA Kano and Ungogo Branches led by the Chairman of the Ungogo Branch, Laminu Bala, Esq. who deemed it necessary and proper to welcome the Learned Silk and his companions.

The members of the NBA Kano and Ungogo branches who warmly received the Learned Silk were not modest about their hospitality as they accompanied the Learned Silk in a convoy to his lodge. Subsequently, the Learned Silk hosted the members of the NBA Kano and Ungogo Branches present for dinner at the Corner indian Grill restaurant while discussing some of the challenges currently faced by members of the NBA Kano and Ungogo Branches. The dinner concluded by the Learned Silk expressing his sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the members of the NBA Kano and Ungogo Branches for such a friendly and generous reception given to him despite the Eid Festivities and their busy schedule.

The Learned Silk cannot be said to be a visitor or stranger to Kano State given that he served the Country under the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme in Kano State with the Ministry of Justice and A. Usman Gadzama and Co. and also commenced the practice of law with his office being established in Kano State. Thus, it is always a delight for the Learned Silk to visit Kano and reminisce on the good old days. This visit is said to be an eventful and exciting one given the rain of activities scheduled to hold while the Eminent Silk is in Kano.

Other members of the NBA Kano and Ungogo Branches present were: Mustapha Imam, Esq. Abdullahi Faskari, Esq. (Immediate Past Chairman of NBA Funtua Branch), A.K. Paki, Esq. A.S. Bawa, Esq. Hadiza Nasir Ahmed, Esq. (Young Lawyers Exco and Member Electoral Reform and Audit Committee), Haruna I. Baba (Treasurer)to mention but a few.
