BET Awards 2022: Wizkid, Tems, Others Make Fans Proud Again – [Full List Of Award Winners]

Nigerian singers Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, and female artist Temilade Openiyi, best known as Tems, made their fans proud as they bagged new awards at the BET Awards 2022.

LAGOS HERALD understands that Wizkid, alongside Canadian singer Justin Bieber and his Nigerian counterpart, Tems won the Best Collaboration award for the song ‘Essence.’

However, on her own, Tems won the Best International Act at the 2022 award ceremony on Sunday, June 26, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

LAGOS HERALD understands that Fireboy DML was nominated alongside Tems and other international artists for the Best international act, but, Tems emerged winner for the category. The BET Awards celebrate Black excellence in music, culture and sports.
