2023: Labour Party will take over power – Plateau Chairman, Zamfara

The Chairperson of Labour Party, LP, in Plateau State, Grace Zamfara, has expressed optimism that the party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will emerge winner of the 2023 general elections.

Mrs. Zamfara stated this at a press conference organised by the party’s chairmen across the 17 Local Government Areas of Plateau State on Monday in Jos.

Zamfara, represented by her Deputy, Mike Audu, insisted that the 2023 governorship election in Plateau would be won by the LP.

According to him, the Labour Party is a ”force to reckon with in Nigeria” at the moment, adding that the party had adopted necessary modalities towards becoming a ruling party.

”Labour Party has structures in every nook and cranny of this country because over the years we have been working to achieve this.

”This party is currently a force to reckon with in Nigeria and there is no doubt that we are taking over power in 2023,” she said.
